Great work, highly recommended. Required a cluster repair on a mk2 focus, dropped it off at 9:30 and had it back within 2 hours for an extremely reasonable price. We had been quoted £350 and a 4-5 working day turnaround by an auto-electrician in South Shields! Will come back here for any future auto-electrical work for sure. Thanks again.

As promised getting a bad review because it happened again... Car engine failed again BUT now getting code 84, so as promised Dave getting a bad review because again stalled on my 75 year old mother, and causing her breakdown stress luckily just before the tyne tunnel... Zero stars, poor service too and feel ripped off with £35 automatic diagnostic check to link to there PC, industry swindled (which also this rubbish diagnostics check didn't pick up any errors, with either: the engine cutting out issues, or why the car would not start after the car stalls, but also why this broken diagnostics report wasn't showing another ongoing Vauxhall Meriva code 68 steering wheel fault; but that wasn't the issue, I brought the car into the shop to begin with) Told the guy, the main car issue, 9:15am, and advised him straight away the issue was with my 75 year old Mother's car engine just cuts out, and why would it not restart after stalling too, told him the issue was something to do with ignition coil connector. This is because opening the bonnet I can restart the car by pushing the coil connector up at the same time restarting the ignition, advised the guy you need to stall the car to get this issue for yourself to understand fault, and problems, but he totally ignored me. He called back 2pm to advise no issue from his car diagnostic report, I asked him did you take the car out for tests, or even try to stall the car to get the same issue, he advised not yet and will investigate further, end call... Time was passing, I called him back at 3pm for an update and he advised, no, haven't looked at it yet because he's busy with other cars and will call back in 30mins (basically a garage that juggles cars, and no service with priority of my car I brought in 9:15am, and that I booked 3 days earlier, wasn't advised he was busy, (if I knew this would have took it elsewhere for a service that focuses on YOUR car) but also if I wanted to replace the coil connector, they would not be official Vauxhall parts and the quality of the other would be lower, plus he doesn't fit official Vauxhall parts, as he only fits lower quality connectors, something about gold plated jargon (as he put it to me)... BUT instead of waiting 30 mins for his callback, decided to walk to the garage, and during this time WALKING back to the garage, received no callback in 30mins, and as I arrived at the garage, 4pm now, found my car in the street, he didn't look at car again, and was advise he hadn't have the time because he didn't start looking at the car until 12pm, and if he did change the connector cable, it would be probably be the next day because of time of day, ended up paying £35 for nothing! THANK DAVE FOR TERRIFYING MY 75 MOTHER. Updated... 5 days later after buying and bought a £20 Aldi code reader that finds issues, explain this, and demand refund.

I took my car here for an airbag fault after the dealership said they couldn't fix it. DCR has the fault fixed and the car back to me within a couple of days and at a very reasonable price. I would highly recommend this garage to anyone
