Simon did a small job for me recently after I'd got stuck with solving an SRS issue. First time I've been to Motolec and have to say I found him to be polite, approachable and very good value not to mention highly knowledgeable. I make this fella has forgotten more about car wiring diagrams than most of us will know in a lifetime!!! Would definitely recommend and use again 👍

This guy has amazing knowledge and diagnostic ability for all things auto electic. Sorted my 350Z out with a intermittent misfire and it is now purring again. You just know that he hasn't guessed at a problem. He will give you printouts showing how you car was before and after fixing and the faulty bits he has replaced. Very humble, nice likable guy, total recommendation from me. Just dont expect a posh swanky garage, he is hidden away and has long lead times to get to your car, but in my experience, its worth the wait.

We use Simon at Motolec to diagnose tricky issues with our fleet of company vehicles. He is very knowledgeable indeed and will dig a LOT deeper that your average garage/ main dealer to get to the very heart of the problem rather than just throwing parts / sensors at a vehicle because of a fault code that’s been read. Ultimately this will save you money and time as the issue will be correctly diagnosed first time around. The guy is really rude and arrogant. I read your post .you had no interest and you literally throw the light bulbs on counter instead saying anything you went straight in .you need to learn customer service.By the way I paid half of what you quoted me and get it done in 5 minutes
