Over £2000 spent and van still not fixed/running properly. Booked in and dropped off, great so far. I Reported Dpf issues lights on dash etc,they gave me a call a few hours later and was told we can remove it and delete it if you want? No thanks that’s not what I want,I wanted it fixed not deleted thank you. So they quoted me and replaced the glow plugs,carried out a mini service,dpf “cleaned” and some coolant seal replaced, April £688.65 later…..collected van found carpet up in cab and battery cover off?? Took back after a couple of weeks for them to check data and get the thumbs up 👍,didn’t mention at first about the carpet etc as I sorted it,no biggie. Was running ok/better Van not great after a few months went back for diagnosis in July £78, Was told turbo had gone so needed a new turbo fitted, So turbo fitted new oil return pipe,new oil and filter etc,£1246.62 later,mid august Picked up and drove up the motorway for a wee test drive then as I was driving home I could hear a scraping going over speed bumps,got home only to find the plastic engine cover was hanging down and this could have easily come off on motorway! I had to fix this asap as I was going away with the van the next morning,so while getting under the van I noticed damage to the jacking point on driver side,not even a week after it’s new mot so this clearly wasn’t there before hand. Then I had the van away for a week and thats when I noticed another problem ,the exhaust pipe just after the dpf was hanging very low to the point of fear of driving and damaging more, Pretty much was/have been back at them weekly, as it’s has been making a whooshing sound under acceleration and loss of power,no lights on dash! week 1 new exhaust bracket Week 2 jacking point welded and paint Week 3&4 van checked over and was told thats how it is and sounds etc.but no pressure or smoke test carried out!? So Today I took the van to another garage for diagnosis/ live data and the dpf is showing blocked again,but no warning lights on dash how strange? And the whoosh could be the pressure leaking past a seal or gasket, What have they done with my van? Like really done? Tbc……………

Fantastic service from Ella and the team. Looked after my Clio 182 Trophy, major service, plugs and belts etc. communications throughout was brilliant. Highly recommend!

Not happy in any way. 3 months without my van! Yes, 3 months waiting on a part. Told them the head gasket had blown. No....it was turbo, they said!. THEN.. another garage said...he'd gasket mate, and the water pump.p leaks!. Rentec took £1125 off .e a d I need to go back as they have left the underside engine apron/ garden in their adage!! Never ever again!!!!! Ihegasket. Tho Phoned after they changed the radiator.

Took my car with an intermittenting starting fault, they had it for a week. Had to chase for updates no proactiveness. I believe they did a quick check and it started so they went and parked it a few streets away and forgot about it. Only when i rang and sent email was told to pick it up. Went to pick it up was told by Ella that checks were carried out and nothing was found. When asked for more information the mechanic had taken another car for a test run and she didn't know when he would be back. So 30miles round trip and a week without a car, they are simply are to busy to look at your issues if they are complex so felt I was given the fob off. I wouldn't recommend them especially as they class themselves experts.

Very pleased with the service received from Rentec. Had my car in quickly and replaced my brake caliper the same day. The brake caliper had seized when I was driving and it likely would have been easy for them to say the discs and pads needed replaced too but they didn't. An honest, reliable garage which I will be using again! Very friendly staff too. Would recommend.
