It would help if you could link these private garages to an app. like Google maps. This particular garage was at the back of a guy's house with no indication of number or location. The work was also sub contracted out. I had a morning booking, but the sub contractor was not available until the afternoon. Not only did I make two trips to the location but still had to wait over an hour before he turned up. Having said that I saved over £100 on my gas top up, compared to the quote from KC cars.

Excellent idea and service. Takes the stress out of organise a vehicle garage and allows you to sort out a way to fix your vehicle in a manner that you prefer. I used a mobile mechanic and the price was very satisfactory. Job was excellent. Ill be using again.. god willing..

Charged me £80 call out diagnosed wrongly just by listening? Didn’t even use plug in diagnostic machine, then said £600/700 to fix? Called customer service told them who what when no call back and £80 down!! Take to a proper garage!

How to be a professional scammer- design a website like this! Used the website to gain work from it, took 2 weeks to get on the site after account was approved instantly but still wouldn’t let us on to quote for work, then take their commission payments before the work has been carried out, meaning whenever a customer doesn’t turn up, we have paid commission for nothing, then lock the account so no future work can be sourced if a payment fails. Stated through sign up process any commission payments would not be due until after the work had been completed and confirmed by either the garage or customer, however commission is taken directly from your connected bank account instantly as soon as a job is “won”… if a job is cancelled, we are left with no income from that job, however the wcfmc site has profited through the commission, at our expense and clearly states in the terms & conditions that refunds for this aren’t available. This means that if we win 10 jobs, commission of £50 a job is directly taken from our account, £500, then 9 jobs get cancelled, we would have paid £450 out for nothing! Signed up to the site after being recommended it by a customer who used it often, but very poor business decision by us and an even more poor business platform created by the owner - they will be raking it in from commission + the yearly membership fees, while the small business owners will be losing potentially thousands of pounds a year from paying commission and the membership fees before any work has even been guaranteed!! Best way to help a small business go bust is design a website like this one. Very disappointing service. I will be informing every single mechanic I know to not use this site if they want to stay profitable! A business would be more likely to stay profitable doing no work at all than they would trying to gain work from this site, absolutely diabolical

Booked to have my front shock absorbers and shock mounts changed I booked a garage had to wait a week on the day IE Thursday they were meant to come and replace them I had a call at the later part of the day saying there mechanic was off ill witch ok that's fair but then rearranged for the work to be carried out the day after at 10am bear in mind I had a holiday to go on that weekend didn't turn up at the arranged time so I called at 11am to be told the mechanic is definitely coming but will be with me at 2pm so I waited until 3pm called again was told they're on there way got to 5pm when the actual mechanic called me to say they wouldn't be able to make it so I had no time to get another mechanic to do the work in time to go on holiday witch has caused me distress while on holiday worrying about taking my kids in a car probably not in the best condition to do so I'm by no means a mechanic but can carry out works myself the total price for the work was just under £400 now when I get back I no I can order the parts myself and tools for less money and can do the work in half hour each side and have the tools to do the rear ones and replace them and save myself a lot of money because the cost of the rear would bump the price to £900 just for the shocks but all in doing it myself I can get the springs and shocks and the rear Arabs and control arms plus bushes and links with the front shocks and mounts with tools for that same £900 they would want just for the four shocks yes it will take an hour for the front and probably two to do complete rear suspension but at least I no I'd of saved £600 for a complete rear suspension change as I've already done the front control arms with links ball joints tie rods plus bushes for £100 a side witch a garage wanted £250 a side with parts for half hours work each side so a saving of £300 there I'm definitely not happy
